<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control apparatus provided with a power semiconductor device and prediction method of a remaining life of the electronic control apparatus which predicts a remaining life of the device more precisely in a nondestructive manner in line with an actual use environment and an actual use condition. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic control apparatus includes a power semiconductor device, and a wiring board provided with a heating and sensing device formed of a heating layer producing heat when a voltage is applied and a heat sensing layer capable of measuring a temperature, and electrically connected with the power semiconductor device. The prediction method of a remaining life of the electronic control apparatus provided with the power semiconductor device and the wiring board electrically connected with the power semiconductor device includes the steps of heating the heating layer provided on the wiring board, and measuring a temperature change of the sensing layer provided on the wiring board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
