<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide movement mechanism and an electronic equipment capable of suppressing the complication of the slide movement mechanism structure and achieving a smooth slide operation. <P>SOLUTION: A slide type cellular phone comprises a first unit and a second unit which can be piled up to the first unit. A guide groove 13 is formed in a case 11 of the first unit. The second unit has a guide member 23 projected from a case 21. Young's modulus of a first guide member 231 near the case 21 is smaller than that of a second guide member 232. When a slide operation is performed with the guide member 23 inserted in the guide groove 13 and the second guide member 232 contacts with the edge of the guide groove 13, the first guide member 231 bends to the width direction of the guide groove 13, whose reaction generates reversely-directed bending. The force generated from the bending moves the second unit in the pull-apart direction from the edge of the guide groove 13, which reduces the frictional force between the guide member 23 and the guide groove 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
