<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position sensor that can suitably detect an operation point even when a specific magnet among a plurality of magnets becomes incapable of functioning. <P>SOLUTION: A first group is composed of a magnet 31 and Hall ICs 41, 43, and 45, and a second group is composed of a magnet 32 and Hall ICs 42, 44, and 46. The Hall ICs 41, 43, and 45 that belong to the first group detect the operation point by detecting a change of magnetic flux generated by the magnet 31 that belongs to the same group, while the Hall ICs 42, 44, and 46 that belong to the second group detect the operation point by detecting a change of magnetic flux generated by the magnet 32 that belongs to the same group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
