<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter having more improved operability compared with that of a conventional art. <P>SOLUTION: The cutter 10 includes: a surface plate 11 placed on a material to be worked; a motor housing 21 in which a motor 22 serving as a drive source is housed; a handle 31 gripped by an operator; and a circular saw blade 41 rotatively driven by the undergoing transfer of a drive force from the motor 22. In the cutter 10, the motor housing 21, the handle 31 and the circular saw blade 41 are arranged in a state of being assembled in an approximately central position in the width direction of the surface plate 11 when the surface plate 11 is seen from a top surface. Additionally, in the cutter 10, an axial line of a motor shaft 22a possessed by the motor 22 is directed in the direction of the surface plate 11, and set so that the axial direction of the motor shaft 22a possessed by the motor 22 and the longitudinal direction of the handle portion 31 are almost in parallel to each other when the surface plate 11 is seen from the top surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
