<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for displaying an image at short time whose luminance variation is suppressed without increasing a processing band of a work memory. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device of the present invention comprises: a display panel; first memory means for storing correction data; second memory means; transmission means for transmitting the correction data; correction means for reading the correction data from the second memory means and performing a correction process on an input image signal; and control means. The control means starts a temporary correction process using a part of the correction data when the part of the data is written in the second memory means as well as starts an image display, and by abbreviating the temporary correction process on a part of frames until the rest of the data is written in the second memory means, generates non-read time in which the correction means does not access the second memory means to allocate the non-read time to a process for the transmission means writing the rest of the data in the second memory means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
