<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The system has a basic field generating device (9) for generating basic magnetic field, and a gradient field generating device (8) for generating gradient field. The basic field generating device and the gradient field generating device are arranged in an evacuated low-pressure housing (2). A transmitter antenna (6) is arranged at an outside part of the low-pressure housing. Field screen elements (13) are provided between the basic field generating device and the gradient field generating device.
