<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication support system capable of supporting the communication between users staying at positions distant from each other. <P>SOLUTION: An information acquisition section 16 acquires at least one attribute predetermined on an event occurring in each living area 7, as experience information. A commonality determination section 18 evaluates a coincidence degree of at least one attribute on the experience information among different users. The experience information is determined to have the commonality when the coincidence degree becomes a prescribed criterion or more, and the experience information is determined to have no commonality when the coincidence degree falls below the criterion. An information provision section 19 displays the experience information, which is determined to have the commonality by the commonality determination section 18, on televisions 21 in the living area 7 from which the experience information is provided, and presents it to the users in the living area 7.
