摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for maintaining good charge rising property and a good charge level of a developer even when the developer is replenished with a different toner, and for preventing fog, toner scattering, sheet stains and the like in any environments including high temperature and high humidity or low temperature and low humidity conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises the steps of: forming an electrostatic latent image on an image carrier; forming a toner image by developing the electrostatic latent image with a two-component developer containing a carrier and a toner for electrostatic charge image development; and sequentially replenishing the developer with a replenishing toner. The method is characterized in that: the two-component developer shows fluidity of 100 sec/50 g or more when the toner concentration in the two-component developer is controlled to 6 wt.%; and the developer contains the following particles as an external additive for the toner that fills a developing cartridge and/or for the replenishing toner, the particles comprising positively charging metal oxide particles having a BET specific surface area of 100 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or more and two kinds of negatively charging metal oxide particles having a BET specific surface area of 110 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or less and having BET specific surface areas different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
