METHOD FOR PRODUCING DRIED CULTIVATED WILD GINSENG WITH INCREASED FUNCTIONAL COMPOUNDS CONTENTS USING FAR-INFRARED IRRADIATION

PURPOSE: A producing method of cultivated mountain ginseng having the increased content of functional components is provided to increase the content of specific ginsenoside, acidic polysaccharide, and polyphenol inside the ginseng by irradiating far infrared rays. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of cultivated mountain ginseng having the increased content of functional components comprises the following steps: washing the cultivated mountain ginseng, and removing the moisture; removing lateral roots from the cultivated mountain ginseng, and cutting the main root; and irradiating far infrared rays to the cut main root at 90-110 deg C for increasing the content of specific ginsenoside, acidic polysaccharide, and polyphenol. The wavelength of the far infrared rays is 2-14 micrometers.
