<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator which can prevent corrosion of a starting material gas supply unit placed between a confluent part of a recycling flow passage and the starting material gas supply unit and a hydrogenation desulfurizer as compared with the conventional art, and to provide a fuel cell system equipped with the hydrogen generator. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generator 100 includes: a hydrogen generation unit 1 for generating a hydrogen-containing gas using a starting material gas; a hydrodesulfurization unit 7 for removing a sulfur compound in the starting material gas to be supplied to the hydrogen generation unit 1; a first gas channel 5 in which the starting material gas supplied to the hydrogen generation unit 1 via the hydrodesulfurization unit 7 flows; a recycling channel 10 for supplying the hydrogen-containing gas discharged from the hydrogen generation unit 1 to the starting material gas in the first gas channel 5 in the upstream of the hydrodesulfurization unit 7; a starting material gas supply unit 6 arranged between the hydrodesulfurization unit 7 and the merging portion of the first gas channel 5 and the recycling channel 10; and a first opening and closing valve 8 arranged between the starting material gas supply unit 6 and the hydrodesulfurization unit 7 and is closed when the hydrogen generator 100 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
