<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column oven which enhances temperature uniformity of columns by optimizing a temperature distribution of a heat block. <P>SOLUTION: The column oven 400 heats or cools the heat block 10 brought into contact with columns 40, and temperature control of the columns 40 is achieved with heat transfer from the heat block 10. The column oven includes a plurality of temperature-control units 21 and 22 arranged in a lengthwise direction of the heat block 10 while separated from each other, and heat or cool the heat block 10; and a plurality of temperature sensors 31 and 32 for measuring the temperature of the heat block 10 in the vicinity of the temperature-control units 21 and 22.
