<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system and method for controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: A method for controlling a power storage system, connecting a power generation system, a battery and an electric power system to supply electric power to a load, includes: a step of determining whether or not the electric power system is connected to the load; a step of determining whether the power is generated by the power generation system or not.
