<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a considerably large back tension to a wire with a relatively large diameter that is a so-called thick line. <P>SOLUTION: The back tension imparting device includes a wire delivery mechanism 26 for delivering a wire 11 toward a winding machine 12, a guide pulley 41 around which the wire delivered from the wire delivery mechanism 26 is wrapped, elastic members 42 which press the guide pulley in the direction in which a back tension is imparted to the wire to impart a back tension to the wire according to the position of the guide pulley to the wire, and a delivery control means 43 for controlling the delivery of the wire by the wire delivery mechanism 26 so that the guide pulley can be set at a predetermined position. The back tension imparting device further includes a drum 46 which can wind the wire to which a back tension is imparted and which runs toward the winding machine 12. The drum 46 is non-rotatably installed so that the wound wire runs toward the winding machine 12 while slipping. The wire delivery mechanism 26 desirably has a pair of rollers or caterpillar tracks 27, 28 configured to be able to deliver the wire by rotating while holding the wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
