OPTICAL CONNECTION DEVICE AND FABRICATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An optical connection apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure positional precision and beam parallelization between optical fibers which form an optical fiber array by laminating a plurality of substrates in which a through hole is formed and fitting the size of the through hole. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of substrates(110) is laminated while being separated and supports an optical fiber array(200). A plurality of through holes, which corresponds to the arrangement of a plurality of optical fibers, is formed. A plurality of optical fibers forms the optical fiber array. The plurality of the substrates is laminated so that the arrangement of a plurality of through holes is matched. A plurality of space maintenance devices in which the side of the substrate is matched with a longitudinal direction is arranged in a space between substrates.
