The method involves providing a tooling (103) with a tooling surface (104). A laminar closed interior layer of a body segment casing (101) is applied on the tooling surface. The body segment casing is made from fibers. The fiber is applied in one or multiple fiber directions. An independent claim is also included for a body segment for an airplane.
