<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that fuel and an internal combustion engine deteriorate in a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle control device includes: an internal combustion engine information-obtaining unit to obtain information which shows travel distance of the own vehicle from replenishment time of the fuel of the internal combustion engine of the own vehicle equipped with the internal combustion engine and an electric motor as driving sources, and the used amount of the fuel from the replenishment time; a determination unit to determine that the internal combustion engine has been unused during the prescribed time decided beforehand when the travel distance is more than the prescribed distance and the used fuel amount is below the prescribed amount; and a driving force controller to make the own vehicle travel with the electric motor when it is not determined that the internal combustion engine has been unused during prescribed period, and to make the own vehicle travel using the internal combustion engine when it is determined that the internal combustion engine has been unused during prescribed period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
