<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic focus adjustment device capable of performing high-speed and highly accurate automatic focus adjustment processing. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic focus adjustment device includes a focus adjustment lens 1; focus control means 5 which obtains a focusing point by moving the focus adjustment lens 1; imaging means 2 which converts an optical image of an object into an electric signal by photoelectric conversion; image signal processing means 3 which converts the electric signal obtained by the imaging means 2 into image signals; and estimating means 8 which estimates a focusing point using two image signals output by the image signal processing means 3. Using two image signals obtained through the imaging means 2 and the image signal processing means 3, the estimating means 8 estimates a focusing point, and based on this estimation result, the focus adjustment lens 1 is moved by the focus control means 5 and thus the automatic focusing adjustment processing is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
