<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional trunk wear having a slide fastener as a connecting part for attachment and detachment, wherein although a patch member is provided to prevent the pet's hair from being caught in closing the connecting part for attachment and detachment, the conventional patch member is provided only on one side edge of the connecting part for attachment and detachment, so in the case of long hair or the like, carelessly the hair is caught in the connecting part for attachment and detachment. <P>SOLUTION: The trunk wear for a pet is formed as a cylindrical body 1 surrounding the trunk of the pet, penetrating holes 2 for forelegs are formed rather closer to one end of the abdomen side of the cylindrical body, and a cutout part 3 is formed extending from one end (a) of the back side or the abdomen side toward the other end (b) not to reach the other end. The trunk wear is provided with slide fastener 4 disposed along one pair of edges 3a, 3b of the cutout part to be opened and closed.
