<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of internal combustion engine which properly controls the quantity of an internal EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and the injection timing of a compression stroke injection and the ignition timing of an ignition plug in a torch self ignition combustion mode and thereby, providing excellent combustion condition. <P>SOLUTION: In the control device, EGR control parameters for respectively controlling the quantity of the internal EGR gas, the injection timing in the compression stroke injection and the ignition timing, an injection timing control parameter and an ignition timing parameter are calculated to converge a detected combustion condition parameter to a set target value, and at least one of the injection timing control parameter and the ignition timing control parameter is limited. When at least one of the control parameters are limited, further in accordance with deviation parameter DFBZ<SB POS="POST">-</SB>ti representing deviation between one of the limited control parameters and a limit value corresponding thereto, at least one of an integration item I<SB POS="POST">-</SB>ti for injection timing control and an integration item I<SB POS="POST">-</SB>ig for ignition timing control is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
