<p>A microscope device comprising: a distribution measurement unit which irradiates an observation region on which a sample containing a fluorescent substance is placed with excited light to acquire a fluorescent image and measures the fluorescence intensity distribution in the observation region, wherein the fluorescent substance can be activated upon the irradiation with activated light having a predetermined wavelength and can emit a fluorescence upon the irradiation with the excited light that has a different wavelength from that of the activated light when the fluorescent substance is activated; an irradiation intensity setting unit which sets the irradiation intensity of the activated light in every part of the observation region based on the fluorescence intensity distribution; and an image formation unit which repeats an operation several times to acquire multiple fluorescent images and produces a sample image from the multiple fluorescent images, wherein the operation includes an operation of irradiating the every part of the observation region with the activated light having an irradiation intensity that is set for the every part and an operation of irradiating the observation region that has been irradiated with the activated light with the excited light to acquire the fluorescent images.</p> |
