<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for dehydrogenating an organic hydride, which system can effectively utilize electricity generated by its cogeneration device and can be made compact. <P>SOLUTION: A cogeneration device 8 generates heat, and can supply the resulting heat to the dehydrogenation reaction of MCH (methylcyclohexane). Thus, hydrogen resulting from the dehydrogenation of MCH can be supplied. The cogeneration device 8 generates electricity and can supply the water electrolysis device 12 with the electricity generated thereby. Thus, the electricity generated by the cogeneration device 8 can effectively be utilized by further producing hydrogen using the electricity generated by the cogeneration device 8. The amount of hydrogen supplied in the system as a whole can be increased due to obtainment of not only hydrogen resulting from the dehydrogenation of MCH but also hydrogen produced by the water electrolysis device 12 can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
