<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily prevent corrosion of a marine steel structure with a simple apparatus configuration even when the marine steel structure is present at great depths. <P>SOLUTION: The corrosion prevention is conducted: by mounting an upper electrode 13 which is hung down from a steel caisson 1 for a bridge pier so as to be located on the upper part of the depth of water of the steel caisson 1a for a bridge pier, and a seabed electrode 18 placed on the seabed and separated from the steel caisson 1a for a bridge pier; feeding a DC current among the seabed electrode 18, one of the upper electrode 13, and the steel caisson 1a for a bridge pier so as to form an electrodeposition film, and subsequently feeding a DC current among the seabed electrode 18, the other upper electrode 13, and the steel caisson 1a for a bridge pier so as to form an electrodeposition film; or simultaneously feeding a DC current among the seabed electrode 18, the upper electrode 13 and the steel caisson 1a for a bridge pier so as to form an electrodeposition film; and successively feeding a corrosion preventing current between the upper electrode 13 and the steel caisson 1a for a bridge pier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
