<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input and output unit utilizing effectively light from a few light sources. <P>SOLUTION: The input and output unit is provided with an access opening part provided on the front face as a user side, a housing recess part which is formed in recessed shape from the access opening part and in the recessed bottom of which a user access part of the input and output device is arranged, a light source which outputs light from a light emitting surface facing the front, at least two first light guide plate portion and second light guide plate portion which face each other in a horizontally pushed-down form of a nearly V-letter in side view from the front, and an incident surface which is provided at the projected part of the nearly V-letter opposed to the light emitting surface of the light source and makes light from the light source enter into respectively the first light guide plate portion and the second light guide plate portion. An output end face which outputs light guided by the first light guide plate portion is arranged at the opening part provided on the front face other than the access opening part, and an output end face which outputs light guided by the second light guide plate portion is arranged at the opening part of the inner circumferential face of the housing recess part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
