<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer to be controlled by a plurality of controllers and preventing reduction in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 10 is controlled by a control device 50 configured of controllers 60, 70 and 80 for controlling different objects. The controllers 60, 70 and 80 are connected by communication lines 91, 92 and 97 that use a communication protocol for communication between the controllers and dedicated lines 93-96, 98 and 99 provided for outputting an interrupt signal that indicates a control end in one controller using a voltage level to the other controller.
