<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material consisting of a rubber foam, wherein the sealing material exhibits low density without causing its water stop performance to be lower and without deteriorating its defoaming properties. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing material consists of a vulcanized foam of a rubber composition, wherein the rubber composition comprises: a rubber component containing a copolymer rubber of ethylene, α-olefin having three or more carbon atoms and an unconjugated diene; a vulcanizing agent; and a foaming agent. The rubber composition further comprises 7-15 pts.mass of calcium oxide, 3-5 pts.mass of stearic acid, and 3-5 pts.mass of zinc stearate, based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
