<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box with a lid employing a projective butt hinge, in which even when an article enters a clearance between the lid and the console box body, the article can be ejected from the clearance to avoid tucking. <P>SOLUTION: The console box includes: a console box body 10 having an upper opening; a lid 20 that opens and closes the opening; a hinge arm 30 that rotatably journals the lid 20 above the edge upper face 11 of the console box body 10; and a cover 40 formed into a flexible and elastic sheet and fixed to one end 21 of the lid 20 and to the edge upper face 11 of the console box body 10. The cover 40 is disposed in a curved state protruding from the inside of the console box body 10 to the outside between the one end 21 and the edge upper face 11 when the lid 20 is fully open. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
