METHOD OF CALCULATION OF ADJUSTMENT COEFFICIENT FOR ESTIMATING VIDEO FRAME TYPE, APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate adjustment coefficient for obtaining determination threshold without requiring non-enciphered video stream.

SOLUTION: A characteristic value calculation unit 15B calculates temporary characteristic value Ra indicating unique characteristic in video stream from a temporary estimation result which is obtained by a frame type estimation unit 15A, the frame type estimation unit 15A estimating frame type of a target frame, using temporary adjustment coefficient for a plurality of temporary adjustment coefficient which is candidate of optimal adjustment coefficient. An optimal adjustment coefficient calculation unit 15C compares each of temporary characteristic Ra with reference characteristic value Rs(14B) and calculates optimal adjustment coefficient A based on the comparing result.
