CONNECTOR TERMINAL, AND CONNECTOR EQUIPPED WITH THE CONNECTOR TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal 20 capable of easily fitting/detaching to/from a mating terminal (a mating connector) even if a fitting work space in a fitting direction is small.

SOLUTION: The connector terminal 20 comprises a terminal inserting portion 30 in which the mating terminal is inserted, an electric wire connecting portion 50 connected to a terminal of a coated electric wire W, and a coupling portion 60 coupling the terminal inserting portion 30 and the electric wire connecting portion 50; and is constituted by a platy body as a whole. The terminal inserting portion 30 and the electric wire connecting portion 50 are arranged in parallel through the coupling portion 60. The electric wire connecting portion 50 has a base wall 52, a conductor barrel 54, and an insulation barrel 56. A protecting portion 58 extends from the base wall 52 at a position separating from the coupling portion 60 rather than the insulation barrel 56, and covers the terminal inserting portion 30 from the opposite side to the coupling portion 60.
