Producing a mold, preferably a casting core or a casting mold, from a curable molding material, preferably a molding sand, comprises: mixing the molding material with electrically conductive particles; converting the molding material into its final mold; and hardening and drying the electrically conductive particles mixed with the final mold, preferably the casting core or the casting mold, by heating through induction. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a molding material, preferably a molding sand or a binding agent, mixed with electrically conductive particles; and (2) the mold, preferably the casting core or the casting mold, produced using the molding material, where the electrically conductive particles of the mold, preferably the casting core or the casting mold is heated by induction and thus the mold is hardened and dried.
