<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer for electrostatic latent image development, the developer showing no changes in a charging capability and capable of maintaining the capability in a favorable range even when a resin coated carrier is worn by frictional stress in a developing device, and to provide an image forming method using the developer. <P>SOLUTION: The two-component developer for electrostatic latent image development comprises a carrier, and toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant. The carrier comprises a resin coating layer essentially comprising an acrylic resin on the surfaces of the magnetic particles; and the resin coating layer contains 0.1 to 50 mass% of silicone resin particles having a BET specific surface area of 100 to 250 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
