<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the load of answering is large, and the result is unstable. <P>SOLUTION: This merchandise value output device is configured to store two or more merchandise information having two or more function information as the set of a function identifier for identifying each function, the presence/absence of the function, and price information indicating the price of the function in such configurations that the sequence of the selection of the function is identifiable, and to calculate the utility values of each of the two or more merchandise information, and to calculate one or more parameters including the utility values of each of two or more functions so that such likelihood that merchandise specified by the temporally last merchandise information is selected or such likelihood that merchandise specified by the temporally later merchandise information is selected can be made maximum by using the two or more utility values, and to calculate the value of one or more functions among two or more functions by using one or more parameters.
