<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device which hardly makes a user feel uncomfortable even when using it in place of a conventional mini-krypton bulb. <P>SOLUTION: An LED lighting device 10 includes: a surface light emitting type LED 12; transparent solid conical lens 14 receiving light from the LED 12 through its bottom face 14a; a base 18; and feed means 20.
