<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plastic processing wood stable in an aspect of physical properties, reduced in the variation of quality between products, not producing a strain caused by a change in circumferential environment condition after formed into a product, having high hardness and hard to damage or dent. <P>SOLUTION: The thicknesses of woods NW1 and NW2 are compressed under heating by the heating compression force applied to the woods NW1 and NW2 to apply plastic processing to the woods NW1 and NW2. The plastic processing woods PW1 and PW2 are further dried in the atmosphere to set not only air-dried specific gravity of water content of 15% to 0.85 or above but also abrasion depth to 0.12 mm or below. The crossing angle on an acute angle side, which is formed by all of the annual ring lines RL of the cut end surfaces of the plastic processing woods PW1 and PW2 and the backside flat grain surfaces B1 or tree center side quarter sawn sections of the plastic processing woods PW1 and PW2, is set to a range of 45° or below. Since the air-dried specific gravities of the plastic processing woods PW1 and PW2 are 0.85 or above and the voids of them are low, excellent hardness can be reliably obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
