<p>Disclosed is a capacitor which can store electric energy utilizing an electric double layer that is formed at an interface between a polarizing electrode and a electrolytic solution as well as charge transfer between the polarizing electrode and a metal compound, and which has a novel structure. The capacitor comprises: a positive electrode current collector; a positive electrode active material layer comprising a carbon material, a poly(lactic acid) and a V3+ compound; a separator; a negative electrode active material layer comprising a carbon material, a poly(lactic acid) and a V4+ compound; a negative electrode current collector; and an electrolytic solution with which the positive electrode active material layer, the separator and the negative electrode active material layer are impregnated.</p> |
