METHOD AND CONTROL UNIT FOR CONTROLLING A DISPLAY OF A PROXIMITY WARNING SYSTEM

The present idea refers to a method and a control unit for controlling a display (19) of a proximity warning system. Vehicles and other objects (4a, 4b, 4c, 5, 6, 7, 8), for example, in a surface mine (1), are equipped with cameras (12) for providing images of different scenes. A control unit (13) of such object (4a, 4b, 4c, 5, 6, 7, 8) receives a signal representing positional information of such object from a radio based positioning receiver (11).
