PURPOSE: A vacuum pump for a vehicle is provided to simultaneously cool a motor part and a controller and to prevent malfunction or damage of the motor part and the controller. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum pump for a vehicle comprises a pump part(100) drawing air in through an air inlet(302), a motor part(200) which provides a drive force to the pump part, and a motor housing(300) which accommodates the motor part and cools the motor part using the air drawn in through the air inlet. The motor housing is arranged on the top of the motor part and comprises a cover(400) with an inflow hole through which a part of the air drawn in through the air inlet is drawn into the motor housing.
