<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing system for executing a transaction management of an auction base transaction of a specific item (for example, such an item as a flat-rate income instrument). <P>SOLUTION: A data processing system provides a sophisticatedly constructed transaction protocol to be executed via a series of transaction paradigms. A user work station (10) is linked to a central server (20) including a control of software. Access to transaction activities is performed by a communication server (30) and a remote server (40). In accordance with the protocol, bidding and successful bidding may be input to this system, or deleted, or affected by a transaction state, and a participant may be given a chance of correcting bidding and successful bidding.
