<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise an alarm in suitable timing by learning driver characteristics and to quicken progress of learning by increasing opportunities of the learning. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for vehicle includes: a brake operation detection means for detecting a brake operation; a relative speed calculation means for calculating relative speed in an approaching direction between an obstacle and a vehicle; a relative speed determination means for determining whether or not the relative speed in the approaching direction is equal to or more than a preset value; a time measurement means for measuring time until the brake operation is detected after the relative speed in the approaching direction is generated when it is determined that the relative speed in the approaching direction is equal to or more than the preset value; a learning value calculation means for calculating a learning value of the driver characteristics based on the measured time; and an alarm timing calculation means for changing alarm operation timing for outputting the alarm by an alarm means based on the calculated learning value of the driver characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
