<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow compressor that suppresses pressure loss at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The axial flow compressor 1A includes a fluid compressing part 20 for compressing fluid, a diffuser 30 in which the compressed fluid flows, a hollow circular outlet casing 40 in which the compressed fluid flows, and a compressed fluid discharge pipe 50 for discharging the compressed fluid received from the outlet casing 40 in the radial direction. The fluid compressing part 20 includes a center casing 21 having a stator blade 21a, and a rotor 22 having a rotor blade 22a. The diffuser 30 is shaped so that, at its end in the outlet casing 40 on the side opposite to the rotor 22, the fluid flows to the radial outside of the outlet casing 40. In the outlet casing 40, an annular horn-shaped member 60A is provided whose cross sectional area is reduced in the rotating direction of the rotor 22 from the upstream side in the rotating direction of the rotor 22 in a region where the outlet casing 40 is connected to the compressed fluid discharge pipe 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
