The invention relates to a power steering system (1), in particular a power assistance steering system for a vehicle, having a movement screw (2) which is driven by a servomotor and comprises a nut (4) which is mounted axially non-displaceably in a frame (3) and an axially displaceable component (5), the thread (6) of which is in engagement with a nut thread (7) of the nut (4), and having a radial bearing (8) for mounting the nut (4) in the frame (3). In order to specify a power steering system, the airborne sound radiation of which is reduced to a minimum amount by way of simple means and the assembly of which is nevertheless simple and the operation of which is extremely precise, it is provided that at least one damping device (9) is arranged axially and radially between the radial bearing (8) and at least one bearing nest (10) for the radial bearing (8). |
