<p>Provided is a terminal device that can connect to both an LTE system and a 2G/3G system, and connects to the 2G/3G system when a call is connected, and wherein an appropriate communication system can be selected after a 2G/3G system call is disconnected. The terminal (100), which can connect to both an LTE system that is a high-speed communication system and a 2G/3G system that is a low-speed communication system, and which connects to the 2G/3G system when a call is connected, is provided with: a communication state evaluation unit (102) that evaluates the communication state just before a call is connected to the terminal (100), the communication state during the call connection, or the average communication state of the terminal (100); an evaluation unit (103) that evaluates, when the call connection is disconnected, whether to connect to the LTE system or the 2G/3G system on the basis of the communication state; and a connection switching control unit (105) that controls the switching of the connection to the communication system to which the terminal (100) is to be connected, on the basis of the result of the evaluation made by the evaluation unit (103).</p> |
