The damper has an axially limited, torque-proof sleeve (5) located against a return spring and arranged on a drive shaft (1). A shifting profile is formed by an arc shaped inner track that is arranged symmetrical to a shaft axis (6). Another shifting profile is guided at a cam (8) of a driven gear wheel (3) and simulated at a front end of the track. End sections of the track face the wheel to be bent around an angle greater than 90 degrees towards the axis, where the angle is measured between a perpendicular curve on the axis and a tangent line of the sections.
