LOW BEND LOSS OPTICAL FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE: Low bending loss optical fiber is provided to minimize light loss due to the change of a refractive index and bending by including a clad and to minimize broadband bending loss by forming optical fiber into a form which gradually reduces or increases the refractive index of a trench layer. CONSTITUTION: A clad(120) comprises an internal layer(121), an external layer(123), and a trench layer(122). The internal layer is arranged in the outside of a core. The refractive index of the internal layer is lower than the refractive index of core. The trench layer is arranged in the outside of the internal layer and has lowest refractive index. The external layer is arranged in the outside of the trench layer. The refractive index of the external layer is bigger than the lowest refractive index of the trench layer and lower than the refractive index of the core.
