PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of an inner liner of a split carcass structure.

SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer 6 which is divided by a tread part 2 formed of at least one layer with a plurality of cords arranged side by side; a belt layer 7 which is formed of at least two layers with a plurality of cords arranged side by side on an outer side of the carcass layer 6 in a tire diameter direction wherein the cords of overlapping layers intersect with each other; and the inner liner 8 arranged on an inner circumference surface of the tire on an inner side of the carcass layer 6 in the tire diameter direction. A rubber layer 9 is arranged between the carcass layer 6 and the inner liner 8. A thickness D of the rubber layer 9 from a divided end 6b of the carcass layer 6 to the inner liner 8 is set to 0.5[mm]≤D≤3[mm].
