Disclosed is a linear electric generator that can use a narrow magnetic-pole pitch, resulting in a high frequency. Said linear electric generator comprises: a plurality of magnetic poles arranged as so to sandwich and hold magnets disposed in a mobile element; a core connecting, in series, the magnetic poles that sandwich and hold the magnets disposed in the mobile element; a winding wire wound around the plurality of magnetic poles, as a unit; and a mobile element comprising a magnetic material and a row of magnets lined up with the polarities thereof alternating or a row of magnets lined up with the magnetic poles thereof alternating. The plurality of magnetic poles arranged so as to sandwich and hold magnets and connected in series by a core are arranged along the long direction of the mobile element and use a shared winding wire.
