The method involves determining a position of an object with respect to a vehicle. Form of the object is determined. The object is classified based on the form of the object. Relevance of the object is determined based on the classification of the object. The position and the form of the relevant object with respect to another vehicle are transmitted to determine the position of the object and hazard potential with respect to the latter vehicle, where an aircraft parameter of the latter vehicle determines the hazard potential. The hazard potential is provided on a bus system (10).
