The method involves correcting an output signal (S1,S2) of a rotor position detecting sensor (4) by using a correction signal (K1,K2). A parameter of a dynamically changing calculation formula is adjusted by a correction element (3). The correction element adjusts a parameter as a function of the correction signal. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for compensating a sensing error of a sensor.
