<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for executing image processing on another piece of image data in background without hindering displaying of a moving image in a configuration which performs image processing on moving image data and image processing on the other image data by a common processing circuit. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device performs image processing on another piece of image data in background during image processing for a piece moving image data by using a common image processing circuit. The device comprises: detecting means for detecting a still scene or a still region which has no movement in the image from the moving image data; control means for controlling the image processing circuit so as to omit image processing for the still scene or still region of the moving image data and allocating the resultant spare time to image processing for other image data; and output means for outputting data of a previous frame as the still scene or the still region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
