<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing heat generated by a drive actuator by performing PWM (pulse width modulation) control to downsize a heat sink. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling actuator drive current includes: a step for receiving a reference signal; a step for deciding a feedback signal at least partially on the basis of the drive current; a step for deciding an adjusted feedback signal at least partially on the basis of the feedback signal; a step for comparing the reference signal with the adjusted feedback signal; and a step for controlling the drive current on the basis of a comparison result between the reference signal and the adjusted feedback signal.
