<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work bench allowing one person to easily adjust the height. <P>SOLUTION: A work bench 1 includes a base portion 111 and a body portion 131. A switching device 30 is mounted on a side surface of a body portion support 134 provided in the body portion 131. An operation body 75 extending from a fixing member 70 of the switching device 30 is moved along a guide groove 50 to rotate or axially move the fixing member 70. When the base portion 111 is set to a desired height and the operation body 75 is moved to a fixing position positioning portion 53 of the guide groove 50, a tip portion 71 of the fixing member 70 completely gets into a base portion support 114. At the time, an edge of an adjusting hole 20 of the base portion support 114 is mounted on a stopping surface 74 of the fixing member 70, thereby preventing the base portion 111 from lowering, even if a person releases his hands from the base portion 111. When the operation body 75 is moved up to a release position positioning portion 54, the tip portion 71 of the fixing member 70 becomes a completely slipping-out state from the body portion support 134 to easily lower the base portion 111 up to a lower end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
